A good snowy week
This past week, I saw my hands-on approach to marketing my drain cleaning business by putting up telephone pole ads around town. I strategically placed them in high-traffic areas, making sure they were clear, bold, and easy to read. I see mixed results week-to-week with these fliers, but this week I’ve had a few promising calls! It’s amazing how such a simple, old-school method can still be so effective in reaching local customers.
Seattle’s snowy weather made it tough to get around this week, but that didn’t stop me from running my business. Even when the roads were slick and the city felt frozen in place, I was still able to take calls and schedule appointments. Thanks to my mobile setup and digital tools, I kept my business moving without missing a beat. The weather may slow some things down, but my commitment to serving my customers remains strong no matter what Mother Nature throws at me.
This week has been all about building momentum. Between the success of my telephone pole ads and staying available during the snowy weather, I’ve been able to rack up a few small but meaningful wins. One customer called after seeing my sign, then referred me to their neighbor. Another job led to a great online review, which brought in yet another client. Each win builds on the last, and seeing my hard work pay off is a great motivator to keep pushing forward.
